KENNER POLICE ARREST DRUNK DRIVER

AFTER CRASHING INTO KENNER FIRE STATION

 

Kenner - On 12/25/2010 at approximately 6:22 A.M., Kenner Police Officers responded to a 911 call from the Kenner Fire Station located at 1801 Williams Blvd. Officers found that a 1997 Ford Mustang operated by Mario Perez, H/M, 29 years old, 2746 Dawson Apt. D, Kenner, LA. had crashed into the fire station. Mario Perez and a passenger inside the vehicle were injured in the accident. The crash caused moderate damage to the fire station. The passenger was treated at a local hospital and released.

Mario Perez was treated at a location hospital and he was charged with the following after he was released from the hospital:

                   Operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated

                   Reckless operation of a motor vehicle

                   No drivers license

                   No motor vehicle insurance

                   No liability insurance

                   Two (2) Traffic Attachments

Officer Josh Wilkerson is in charge of the investigation.
