Kenner Police identify murder suspect 

KENNER - The Kenner Police Department has identified the person responsible for an early morning murder that occurred in the 3100 block of Bainbridge Street, in Kenner.  Kenner Police are attempting to locate 36 year old, Durrell Brown, of Kenner, who is presently wanted for the crime of second degree murder.  Durrell Brown is described to be 5’8” in height, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.  He has “Mardi Gras” masks tattooed on both arms. 

At 0115 hours, Durrell Brown forced entry into a home of a former girlfriend in the 3100 block of Bainbridge Street, in Kenner.  Once inside, Durrell Brown attacked 38 year old, Herbert McGee of Kenner, who was sitting on a couch inside the residence.  McGee was stabbed multiple times.  McGee’s death was pronounced on scene.  Chief Steve Caraway urges anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Durrell Brown, to call the Kenner Police Department at (504) 712-2222 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
