KENNER POLICE ARREST 2 SUSPECTS FOR A STRING OF VEHICLE BURGLARIES

Kenner -  Kenner Police have arrested 2 suspects for a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Highway Park Subdivision of Kenner.

Charles Lefevre W/M, age 32, 2201 Kansas Ave, Kenner and Brain Medford W/M age 30, 2201 Kansas Ave, Kenner were arrested for a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred during December of 2010.

Lefevre and Medford are responsible for 10 vehicle burglaries in which they removed property from unlocked vehicles in the Highway Park Subdivision.

The incidents occurred in the 2100 Blk of  Kansas Ave, 2200 Blk of Iowa Ave, 2200 Blk of Maine Ave, 2300 Blk of Iowa Ave and the 2200 to 2400 Blk’s of Kentucky Ave in Kenner.

Charles Lefevre has been charged with:                

10 counts of Simple Burglary

                        1 count of Possession of Stolen Property

                        Parole Violation

(For a 2007 Conviction for counts of Simple Burglary and Theft in Jefferson Parish)

Brian Medford has been charged with:                   

10 counts of Simple Burglary

                        2 counts of Possession of Stolen Property

                        Probation Violation

(For a Drug Conviction in East Baton Rouge Parish)
