KENNER SEEKING INFORMATION ON SUSPECT INVOLVED IN ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING AND ATTEMPTED RAPE OF 13 YEAR OLD

 

KENNER -  Kenner Police Detectives are seeking help in identifying a suspect involved in an attempted kidnapping and attempted rape of a 13 year old male juvenile.

On February 17, 2011 at approximately 3:25 P.M. a 13 year old black male juvenile was walking in the parking lot in the rear of the 1600 Block of Newport Place, when a Hispanic Male motioned the juvenile toward him while asking for directions. When the juvenile was within arms reached of the suspect, he grabbed the juvenile and forced him into a dark green mini-van. Once inside the van, the suspect forcibly pulled down the juvenile’s pants, the juvenile bit down of the suspects arm causing him to release the juvenile. The juvenile was able to free himself from the vehicle and run towards the near by apartments.

The suspect was last seen fleeing inside the vehicle toward the 4100 block of California Ave.

The suspect is described as a 27 – 32 year old Hispanic Male, Black Hair, Brown Eyes, 230 to 260 lbs, 5’8” to 6’0” tall. The suspect had short spiked hair, a vertical scar above his right eye and a pot belly. The suspect was wearing a pair of black jeans and a black tee-shirt.

The suspects vehicle is described a dark green, mini-van with a dent in the driver’s door.
