KENNER MAN DRESSED AS A WOMAN ARRESTED FOR ARMED ROBBERY

Kenner - A Kenner man has been arrested for an August 26, 2011, armed robbery of a convenience store.  On August 26, 2011, Willie Isaac, 19, of 3204 California Avenue, Kenner, entered a Shell Station, located in the 3200 block of Williams Boulevard, in Kenner.  Isaac dressed as a woman produced a knife and robbed the cashier at knifepoint.

Isaac was located today (9-29-2011) in Kenner; by members of the U.S. Marshal’s Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force and detectives with the Kenner Police Department. 

Isaac was interviewed by Kenner Police Detective Harold Pendergast and admitted he was dressed as a woman and committed the armed robbery because he was unemployed and needed money. 

At the time of this press release; Isaac remains in custody, no bond has been set.  Isaac was charged with the crimes of armed robbery and aggravated assault.
