KENNER POLICE Investigating late night home invasion

KENNER - Kenner Police are investigating a late night home invasion that occurred in the 4600 Block of Janice on August 1, 2011 at approximately 11:15 P.M.

The homeowner called police to report at 11:15 p.m. he heard his dog barking and opened the front door to investigate. The homeowner advised that as he opened the front door to the residence (3) three Hispanic males forced their way inside and demanded cash.  All three suspects are described as around six feet tall, about 175 pounds, wearing black pants, black long sleeve shirts and masks. All three suspects were said to be armed with unknown type handguns.

The three suspects fled the residence with an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry. The homeowner and his wife were not injured in the incident.
