KENNER POLICE INVESTIGATING HOME INVASION AND SEXUAL ASSAULT

 

Kenner - Kenner Police responded to a 911 call from a female victim on March 6, 2012 at approximately 11:10 A.M in the 700 block of Vouray Drive in Kenner.

The victim advised that she was inside of her apartment in her bedroom with her 1 year old child, when she thought she heard someone knocking at the front door.  The victim advised that she opened the front door and saw that no one was there.  The victim advised that a few seconds later she heard a noise coming from the rear sliding glass door. As the victim entered her rear bedroom she was confronted by the suspect who knocked her down causing her to strike her head. 

The victim was sexually assault by the suspect after knocking her to the ground. The victim suffered a laceration to her head and leg during the incident.

The suspect is described as African American Male, around 20 to 25 years of age, wearing a tan or brown hooded jacket. The suspect fled the location in an unknown location.
