Painters Union set to paint Kenner Police Training Center

EVENT:  Kenner Police Training Center Paint Project

DATE:  Saturday, May 26, 2012

TIME:  8 A.M.

LOCATION:  KPD Training Center, 1939 Third Street, Kenner, LA

DESCRIPTION:  The Painters Union has had a long relationship with the Kenner Police Department and the City of Kenner.  Over the years the Painters Union has contributed so much time to the community, including free labor for the graffiti abatement program during the early 90ís and painting of the military jet on display at Veterans Park.  In addition to their commitment to the City of Kenner, the Kenner Police Department has also been on the receiving end of their community involvement, including volunteering their time to paint the KPD Training Center.  Organizations donating their time this Saturday to paint the KPD Training Center include Core Community, Finishing Trades Institute of District Council #80, and Young Lions Club.
