Kenner man arrested after firing gun during a domestic disturbance  

Kenner - The Kenner Police Department has arrested Said Fahid, 29, of 2909 Kansas Street, in Kenner.  Fahid was charged with illegal use of weapons and disturbing the peace. 

 On Tuesday, August 13, 2013, the Kenner Police Department responded to a report of gunshots in the 2900 block of Kansas Street, in Kenner.  There Kenner Police Officers learned that Said Fahid had been involved in a domestic disturbance with his wife concerning him losing his job.  During the argument the situation escalated and Fahid began firing his gun into the air numerous times, then fled the location. 

 Fahid was located by members of the Louisiana State Police in the 2200 block of Clearview Parkway, in Metairie, where he was taken into custody without incident.  The gun used, was recovered in Fahidís possession.  At the time of this press release, Fahid remains in custody, no bond has been set.
