Kenner Police investigate murder

 Kenner-The Kenner Police Department is presently investigating an overnight murder.  At approximately 00:02 a.m., Thursday, May 02, 2013, the Kenner Police Department received a telephone call reporting gunshots and a subject down at the corner of 31st & Marietta Street, in Kenner. 

 Officers responding to the location, found Jeremiah Jackson, 19, of Kenner, had been shot.  Jackson was transported to University Hospital where his death was pronounced.  At the present time no motive or suspect has been determined.

 Detective Joseph McRae is in charge of the investigation.
