Undercover Operation leads to arrest of repeat offender for child pornography

 Kenner - On Friday, December 19, 2014, the Kenner Police Department assisted by Louisiana State Police executed a search warrant at the home of Wayne Gardner, 43, of 2414 21st Street, in Kenner.  The search warrant was relative to an undercover operation concerning Gardner possessing and distributing child pornography. 

 As a result of the search warrant and a preview of Gardnerís computer, 27 files depicting child erotica, file names suggestive of child pornography, and child pornography was located on Gardnerís computer.  Gardner was arrested and charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. 

 It should be noted that Gardner was arrested for possessing pornography in November 2011, and had similar charges pending in 24th Judicial Court.  At the time of this press release, Gardner remains in custody no bond has been set.  Gardner could face additional charges once a forensic exam of his computer is complete.
