Kenner man arrested, booked with distributing child pornography
Authorities have arrested a Kenner man accused of using his home computer to share images of children being sexually abused. Milos Ocokoljic, 27, was booked with distributing child pornography following an investigation by the State Police and the Kenner Police Department, an arrest report said.
The case began in December when a master trooper with the State Police's undercover Internet operations division began an investigation to identify people who possess, manufacture or distribute child pornography in Louisiana. While online, the trooper traced to Kenner a computer from which he was able to download more than 700 images of child pornography, the arrest report said.
He connected to the same computer a second time and downloaded another 1,200 files. Those files contained images of children ranging in age from babies to preteens being sexually abused, the report said.
The trooper tracked the computer to an apartment at 3550 Grandlake Blvd., Kenner, the report said. Kenner Police picked up the case and served a search warrant at the apartment Thursday (Feb. 6).
Detectives identified Ocokoljic as the resident and questioned him. The arrest report said Ocokoljic admitted to downloading the illicit images and said he used them for "sexual gratification."
Ocokoljic was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna on Thursday. He was still being held there Monday (Feb. 10) on a $50,000 bond.
