16 unlocked vehicles burglarized in the Place Pontchartrain & Woodlake subdivisions in Kenner

 Kenner - The Kenner Police Department reports that approximately 16 unlocked vehicles were discovered burglarized on Saturday, January 25, 2014, in the Place Pontchartrain and Woodlake subdivisions in Kenner.  In each of the vehicle burglaries unknown suspect entered unlocked vehicles, rummaged through them, and took money, a wallet containing credit cards, first aid kit, a handgun, backpack with dermatological medicine samples, a computer, and other property.  The burglaries occurred between 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 24th, and 06:30 a.m., on Saturday, January 25th. 

 The burglaries were reported on the following streets:
