Arrest warrant issued in Jaren Lockhart’s murder and dismemberment case

 Kenner - Kenner Police Chief Steve Caraway has announced that an arrest warrant has been obtained for Terry Speaks, 41, concerning the murder and dismemberment of Jaren Lockhart.  The arrest warrant charges Speaks with the crimes of second degree murder and obstruction of justice.  Speaks remains incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institute, in Otisville, New York.  Speaks is due to be released in October, but will be extradited back to Louisiana to be charged with the above offenses, and a second warrant charging him with failing to register as a sex offender. 

  Margaret Sanchez who was initially arrested May 7, 2014, and charged with second degree murder and obstruction of justice, remains incarcerated in the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center, her bond had been set at $750,000.00.
