Metairie man arrested in Kenner burglary attempts

 Kenner - A Metairie man was arrested Friday (5/9/2014) after he was observed by an off-duty sheriff’s deputy pulling on vehicle door handles in the 5100 block of Toby Lane, in Kenner. 

 Brandon Labourdette, 24, was arrested Friday and charged with three counts of attempt simple burglary of a vehicle.  At approximately 03:57 a.m., Friday, May 9, 2014, the Kenner Police Department responded to the 5100 block of Toby Lane, Kenner, in reference to a white male pulling on vehicle door handles.  Upon arrival, Labourdette was located, positively identified, and taken into custody. 

 At the time of this press release, Labourdette remains in custody; his bond was set at $30,000.00.
