Speaks waives extradition; will be extradited next week

 Kenner - Kenner Police Chief Michael J. Glaser has announced that Terry Speaks, who was indicted in the murder-dismemberment of Jaren Lockhart, has signed a waiver of extradition and will be extradited, backed to Kenner / Jefferson Parish next week. 

 Speaks was transferred yesterday (Tuesday, October 7, 2014) from a federal facility in New York to an Orange County, New York jail.  Speaks at an extradition hearing held today (October 8, 2014) waived extradition.  Arrangements are presently being made to bring speaks back to Louisiana next week.
