Kenner Police investigate shooting

 Kenner - On Saturday, February 28, 2015, at approximately 6:09 p.m., the Kenner Police Department received multiple calls concerning a shooting that occurred at the Kenner Housing Authority apartments (Lincoln Manor), located at 1013 31st Street, in Kenner. 

 Officers arrived on scene, and found that Quinton Cox, 29, of Kenner had been shot multiple times.  Cox has been transported to the LSU Interim Hospital (University).   At the time of this press release, Cox remains in surgery.  His present condition is listed as critical. 

 Kenner Police Chief Michael J. Glaser urges anyone with information concerning Quinton Cox or person(s) responsible for shooting him to call Kenner Police Detective Harold Pendergast at (504) 712-2226 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
