Kenner man charged with 14 counts of simple burglary

 Kenner - On Monday, June 29, 2015, the Kenner Police Department released surveillance photographs to the local news media and other police agencies concerning a burglary suspect, responsible for burglarizing 14 unlocked vehicles, on June 19, 2015, at a used  car lot, located in the 1800 block of Airline Drive, in Kenner. 

 As a result of the release, information was obtained from the Criminal Intelligence Center identifying Kenny Webster, 46, of 724 Vouray Drive, in Kenner, as the suspect. 

 

 On Tuesday, June 30, 2015, Webster was located in the 1000 block of West Esplanade Avenue, in Kenner, by officers with the Kenner Police Department.  Webster viewed surveillance photographs and identified himself, in addition admitted to burglarizing the unlocked vehicles in a failed attempt to find money.   Webster was charged with the crime of simple burglary (14-counts).  

 

 At the time of this press release, Webster remains in custody.  No bond has been set.   Original press release, surveillance photographs (June 29th), and a booking photograph are attached to this press release.
