Sobriety checkpoint scheduled in Kenner  

Kenner- In an effort to prevent alcohol-related injuries and fatalities, Kenner Police Chief Michael J. Glaser has announced that the Kenner Police Department and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, August 1, 2015, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., at an undisclosed location in Kenner. 

 Chief Glaser would like to remind all motorists to choose a designated driver.  Don’t drink and drive.  Motorists who are stopped and found to be under the influence will be arrested.
