Three shot outside Kenner night club  

Kenner - The Kenner Police Department is investigating a shooting which occurred outside the Black and Gold Bar & Lounge, located at 1820 Airline Drive, in Kenner, which left three people shot. 

 

At approximately 07:09 a.m., the Kenner Police Department began receiving reports of a shooting.  Upon officers’ arrival, officers learned that prior to the shooting a group of subjects (male and female) were involved in a physical altercation in front of the nightclub.  One involved in the altercation retreated to a vehicle where he removed a handgun from inside a vehicle and began chasing and shooting at the second group involved. 

 

As a result of the shooting, three people were shot.   The three victims are all seventeen years old (17).  One victim a male received a graze wound to the right foot, a female victim received a gunshot wound to the buttock, and the third was a female who received a graze wound to the back of her leg.   All three victims were treated and released from the LSU Interim / University Hospital.
