Metairie man charged in August Fatality Crash

 

KENNER-On Friday, October 30, 2015, the Kenner Police Department arrested John Reilly, 67, of 5000 Trenton Street, Metairie.  Reilly surrendered himself at the Kenner Police Department after an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest concerning an August fatality crash that claimed the life of Charles Angle, 60 of Kenner.   Reilly was charged with the crime of negligent homicide, and the traffic offenses disregarding a red light, and an expired motor vehicle inspection sticker (October 2014).    Witnesses to the crash reported that Reilly disregarded a steady red light prior to colliding with the vehicle driven by Angle.  At the time of this press release, Reilly remains in custody, no bond has been set.
