Kenner Police arrest woman for steroid distribution

Kenner On Tuesday, September 1st, 2015, Kenner Narcotics detectives arrested Tamara Kearney, age 42, of Jefferson, in the 3800 block of Williams Boulevard, for distribution of Testosterone Propionate (Anabolic Steroids). The arrest was the culmination of a three month investigation in which Kearney drove to Kenner to distribute the steroids.

Kenner Narcotics detectives and members of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Criminal Intelligence Center executed a search warrant at Kearney’s residence in Jefferson, which resulted in the seizure of additional ingredients used to manufacture steroids, packaging materials, labels, and a pricing ledger.

The investigation is ongoing and Kearney may face additional charges. She remains in the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center at this time.

Kenner Police Chief Michael Glaser encourages anyone with information on this incident to contact the Kenner Police Department at (504) 712-2222 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111. Callers may remain anonymous.
