Two arrested in Driftwood drug bust

 Kenner - On Thursday, January 28, 2016, William Miraglia, 21, and Lawrence Palvalos, 66, both of 35 Granada Drive, Kenner, were arrested by members of the Kenner Police Department and DEA HIDTA Task Force.   Members of the Kenner Police Department and DEA Task Force learned that a shipment of Methamphetamine (14.5 grams) had been delivered to the residence.  Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant and located the Methamphetamine, in addition to drug paraphernalia.       

 Miraglia admitted the Methamphetamine belonged to him along with a glass pipe he used to ingest the drug.  Miraglia was charged with the crimes of possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  Palvalos was found to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe that had a white powder residue.  Palvalos was charged with the crime of possession of drug paraphernalia.  At the time of this press release, both remain in custody no bond has been set.
