Kenner Police introduces Captain K-9

 Kenner - The Kenner Police Department announces its newest addition, “Captain K-9.”  Captain K-9 was introduced to the public on Friday, June 10, 2016, at Zephyr’s Field.  Captain K-9 was invited to throw out the first pitch of the game between the New Orleans Zephyrs and Omaha Storm Chasers.

 Captain K-9 was purchased by Gulf Coast Bank & Truck Company (located at 3410 Williams Boulevard, in Kenner), and donated to the Kenner Police Department. 

 Captain K-9 whose motto is “Helping to Grow;” will be utilized for school functions, DARE, public functions, and will partner with McGruff the Crime Dog for the National Night Out Against Crime events held in October.
