Kenner man arrested in shooting

 Kenner -  On Saturday, May 21, 2016, the Kenner Police Department arrested Kevis Robertson, 18, of 1628 Newport Street, in Kenner.  Robertson was charged concerning an April 25th shooting that occurred in the 1600 block of Newport Place.  Robertson was identified as the person who shot an 18-year-old victim in the face during a disturbance.    

 Robertson was charged with the crimes of aggravated battery (shooting), aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal use of weapons, and simple criminal damage to property. 

 At the time of this press release, Robertson remains in custody, no bond has been set.
