ARREST MADE CONCERNING KENNER BUSINESS BURGLARIES

 Kenner - The Kenner Police Department assisted by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested two Metairie men for burglarizing two Kenner businesses on the same night.  Arrested are:

 Jace Thompson, 19, of 9 Caribou Court, Metairie.  Thompson is charged with the crimes of simple burglary (2-counts), attempted simple burglary, and illegal carrying of weapons.  

 Adam Cambre, 21, of 8001 Dalton Street, in Metairie.  Cambre was charged with the crimes of simple burglary and illegal carrying of weapons. 

 On October 18, 2018, at 02:37 a.m., Thompson attempted to force entry into the business of Loiacono Snoball Stand, located at 901 Roosevelt Boulevard, in Kenner. 

 At approximately 03:15 a.m., Thompson and Cambre forced entry into an office located at A & L Stables, located at 2215 Aberdeen Street, in Kenner.  Surveillance video obtained revealed that Cambre was possibly carrying a firearm at the time of the burglary.  Taken during burglary was a television and IPAD.   

 At approximately 03:53 hours, Thompson returned to the Snoball Stand, located at 901 Roosevelt Boulevard, and again attempted to force entry into the business. 

 Both Thompson and Cambre was interviewed by Kenner Police Detective Devin Diedling and admitted their involvement in the business burglaries.  In addition, property taken was also recovered.  At the time of this press release, both Thompson and Cambre remain in custody.  Thompson’s bond was set at $55,500.00 and Cambre’s bond was set at $26,000.00.
