Shooting investigation

 Kenner - The Kenner Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday, April 23, 2017, outside the Lucky Cue, located at 2711 Roosevelt Boulevard, in Kenner. 

 At approximately 3:04 a.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017, the Kenner Police Department responded to a male subject shot.  Upon officers’ arrival, they found a 40-year-old male victim who had a bullet wound to the left calf. 

 Speaking to the male victim, he advised he was involved in both a verbal and physical altercation inside the Lucky Cue.  As the victim left the Lucky Cue, he was followed outside by a male subject, wearing dark a colored shirt and pants, who was armed with a handgun.  The male suspect shot the victim one time, as he walked away from the location.    

 The male victim was transported to University Hospital where he was treated and released.
