  Kenner Police are investigating a shooting

 Kenner - On Friday, July 07, 2017, at approximately 1:01 p.m., the Kenner Police Department received multiple 9-1-1 telephone calls reporting that a male subject had been shot in the face and was located in the 4300 block of Georgia Avenue, in Kenner. 

 Upon arrival, officer(s) discovered a 20-year-old male who had been shot in the face.  The male who was alert refused to cooperate and provide details about the shooting to police. 

 The Kenner Police Department then followed a trial of blood which led them to the 4200 block of Florida Avenue, where it is believe the shooting had occurred. 

 The 20-year-old male was transported to a local hospital.
