Five arrested for vehicle burglaries

 Kenner - On Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at approximately 12:04 a.m., the Kenner Police Department received a telephone call from a concerned citizen who reported that 4 to 5 males’ subjects with a white minivan was traveling up Westgate Street, from Maine Avenue, in Kenner pulling on car door handles and placing things into the minivan. 

 Officers responding to this call, located the white van, and 5 suspects, who was found to have burglarized one unlocked vehicle, and attempted to burglarize a second locked vehicle in the 2300 block of Maine Avenue, in Kenner.

 Arrested and charged with simple burglary and attempted simple burglary are:

 Adam Cambre, 22, of 8001 Dalton Street, Metairie.

 Morgan Haynes, 18, of 745 Hesper Street, Metairie.

 Jason Bourgeois, 20, of 1401 N. Sibley Street, Metairie.

 Tyler Martinez, 19, of 1800 N. Bengal Road, Metairie.   

 Brandon Martinez, 21, of 1800 N. Bengal Road, Metairie. 

 These five named suspects are believed to be responsible for additional vehicle burglaries that occurred in Metairie.  At the time of this press release, all remain in custody, there bonds were set at $35,000.00 each.
