Juvenile charged concerning property damaged by graffiti

 Kenner - On Wednesday, March 8, 2017, the Kenner Police Department arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile, from Kenner, who was charged with simple criminal damage to property (11-counts), concerning graffiti painted throughout the City of Kenner. 

 Between February 17, 2017, and March 1, 2017, numerous amounts of graffiti, consisting of the tag name “Gloom, GMB, PAK, Sole, Ear, ATC,” as well as other designs and words have been spray painted throughout the City of Kenner.   During an investigation, Kenner Police Sergeant George Hoffmann, was able to identify the above 16-year-old as being one of the person’s responsible for the graffiti. 

 That juvenile whose name can’t be release due to his age, was arrested and charged with the above offenses.  The juvenile was transported to the Rivarde Juvenile Detention Center where a continued custody hearing was held today (Thursday, March 09, 2017), resulting in a juvenile judge ordering the 16-year-old to be held on a $5,000.00 bond.  If the juvenile makes bond, then he is required to participate in the electronic monitoring program, which requires the juvenile to wear an ankle monitor.
