Threats made to Kenner Discovery School students
February 18, 2019 Kenner Discovery School Principal Patty Glaser
reported to the Kenner Police that the school has been receiving calls
from concerned parents of reports that a student had threatened to
commit a violent act at the school.
It was learned that there have been social media post concerning
this threat and that there was a “hit list” with the names of several
students who attended the school.
The social media post also claimed the student expressed that he
wished to shoot several students and that he had access to a firearm.
Police are investigating the threat and have identified the student who
is alleged to have made the threat.

additional officers at both campuses over the next couple of days.
