Kenner man wanted for Second Degree Murder
On May 3, 2019 at 4:30 PM Kenner Police responded to a report of gunfire
in the 2600 block of Phoenix Street.
Arriving officers discovered the victim, Remus Lambert, 30, of
New Orleans, seated in his vehicle shot multiple times.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
were interviewed and Lyndell Alford, 34, Kenner was identified as the
person who shot and killed the victim.
and the victim have had an ongoing dispute involving Alford’s girlfriend
with whom the victim has children.
victim was parked near the residence where Alford and the girlfriend
were residing. It is believed the victim was waiting outside for his
children to return home from school. Alford and the girlfriend drove
past the victim and parked in front of their residence.
Alford exited the vehicle, walked into their residence, then
minutes later exited the residence and confronted the victim.
Alford then produced a handgun
and shot the victim multiple times.
fled the scene driving a green Infiniti G35 bearing Louisiana license
has an extensive criminal history and is currently on parole for Illegal
Use of a Weapon, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana and
Distribution of Cocaine.
is wanted for Second Degree Murder.
