The City of Kenner Jail is attached to the Kenner Police Department Complex located at 500 Veterans Boulevard, Kenner, Louisiana. The Kenner Jail houses up to 64 persons arrested for misdemeanor offenses.
Inmate must have been incarcerated at the Kenner Jail for minimum of seven days to receive a visitor.
Visitation is limited to Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitation appointments are scheduled at half hour increments beginning at 9 a.m.
In order to schedule visitation, you must call the jail (504) 712-2227 the Tuesday before you wish to schedule your visit.
Kenner Jail does not house juveniles. Any juvenile arrestees will be transported to the Jefferson Parish Juvenile Detention Facility.
Persons wishing to get fingerprinted at the Kenner Jail must have a valid government issued identification with a Kenner address. Owners of businesses within the City of Kenner may also be fingerprinted at the Kenner Jail with documented proof of business ownership.
Employees of Kenner businesses are not eligible unless they are a Kenner resident. Fingerprints and ink cards cost $5.00 per card; exact cash only.
